3. What cookies does Happylinx use?

Happylinx uses technical or necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the website and for providing the service requested by the user. They do not require prior consent when they are strictly necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of the requested service.

Happylinx may also use optional cookies and technologies only on public pages and only when the user has expressly accepted the corresponding category. The Analytics category includes Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. The Marketing and advertising category includes campaign measurement in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest. Both categories are disabled by default and can be accepted or withdrawn separately.

Microsoft Clarity is configured with strict masking and without identification features added by Happylinx.

With prior Marketing and advertising consent, Happylinx may use campaign measurement tools in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest. These tools may measure public visits, product selection, start of personalization, checkout start and purchase where applicable. We do not send these tools the private content of cards, messages, photos, audios, bank details or contact details for advanced matching. In Google, ad personalization remains disabled.

Google Analytics 4 may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* with a usual duration of up to 2 years. User and event data retention in Google Analytics 4 is configured at 14 months. Happylinx’s own attribution linked to consented purchases or refunds is kept for a maximum of 180 days. TikTok may use cookies such as _ttp for up to 13 months and Pinterest may use measurement cookies for up to 1 year, according to their current documentation. The exact duration of Meta and Clarity cookies depends on each provider’s current configuration and documentation.

The legal basis for the Analytics and Marketing and advertising categories is consent. The user can accept, reject or withdraw each category at any time from the cookie preferences available in the footer. If consent is withdrawn, Happylinx will stop sending new events based on that category and, where technically possible from happylinx.com, delete first-party cookies associated with the domain. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing previously carried out.

The use of these tools may involve processing by Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok or Pinterest and possible international transfers. Happylinx uses these tools according to the consent granted, the safeguards and terms applicable by each provider and the technical configuration described in this policy.

6. Third party cookies

Some features may depend on external providers needed to provide the service, such as payment providers, technical infrastructure, database, storage or email delivery. In particular, the payment process is carried out through Stripe, which may use technologies necessary for security, fraud prevention and payment processing within its own payment environment or flow. With consent, Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest may process technical data or pseudonymized identifiers on authorized public pages for analytics or campaign measurement. Happylinx does not fully control the cookies that external providers may place on their own domains or environments. The user can consult those providers’ privacy and cookie policies for more information.

7. Managing cookies from the browser and from Happylinx

The user can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or configure preferences from the cookie banner. The user can also reopen the preferences from the footer to withdraw Analytics and Marketing and advertising consent separately. Consent is stored for a maximum of 24 months, unless withdrawn or renewed earlier.

The user can allow, block or delete cookies from their browser settings. How to do this depends on the browser used and these options are generally found in the privacy or security settings. Blocking technical or necessary cookies may affect the operation of the website and make some Happylinx features unavailable or not work properly.
